no better place than amalfi. besides, we parked our car nearby. so close to the downtown, 10 minutes on foot. there's a wide range of restaurants to choose from, like trattoria vecchia roma, set within 10 minutes walk or so.
Only 5 minutes walk from Termini & close to bus stops, the room was neat
20 min walk to Roman Colosseum and Forum, the room was very clean
The breakfast was savoury, the staff was helpful. Hotel’s position within walking distance of all my favourite places, like rione monti.
Convenient location, good staff, there is an elevator to lift your luggage, breakfast is medium, tight.
Location is excellent. Breakfast. Room.
It's noisy with an open window. No fan in the bathroom.
Beautiful interior, within walking distance of the main attractions, metro and cafe.
Little shower room, soundproofing.
proximity to the railway station, 5 min, interesting interior
Wonderful location, room cleanliness, staff is friendly. Everything's okay.
The rooms are a little cramped.
Close to the station, friendly personnel.
it was noisy, small rooms.
Hotel is very well located. Very clean. Good air conditioning. Good breakfast. Very good relation price x product. The cornerstone in Amalfi is the people in the staff. Everyone is gentile, warm and attentious. Believe, it makes great difference. Very good choice in Rome. Look for Mr. Cosimo, Mr. Francesco, Sra. Paola or Mr. Giuseppe at nigth. All good and nice people.
Lovely and clean very helpful staff and a great location just round the corner from the underground.
centrally located to city and the train depot
The location was great! It was only approximately 10 minute walk from the train station, which is great if you're travelling to different areas. When we arrived, the man at the front desk was extremely helpful. He was very polite and had a nice sense of humour. He had maps available at the hotel which was great! He took the map and highlighted routes (in different colors :)) to all the sites we wanted to see. The view from our window was very cool, we could see the church and square on our left. The breakfast was standard for the area, 2 cereals (flakes & granola), yogurt, bread, pastry, rolls, cheese, ham, salami, coffee, tea, etc.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like about this hotel actually. Some might have found the following annoying though: pillows were really, really flat (although we didn't actually mind); bathroom small, only standup shower (again, didn't really bother us). When you opened the window it was really loud, but that is to be expected, location is in a big city...again something we didn't really care. Once the window was closed, couldn't hear a thing.
it was 10 minute walk from train station so no taxi fares to pay!!!
the walls of the rooms are very thin making them very noisy. we asked to change rooms and were told the neighbouring guests were leaving but then new guests arrived and were even nosier!! we asked again to change rooms and moved to the 4th floor which was a bit better.
